The headset itself has great battery life and features, I wish they would all move to USB-C instead of Micro-USB for charging but I guess we'll get there eventually. I've noticed the audio on the Series X sounds a lot more "muddy" compared to the PS5 but I think that has more to do with the weird Sonic audio codec Microsoft uses compared to the Tempest 3D stuff on the Sony side. I recommend going to a best buy. They usually have lots of headsets to try on or the very least check the build quality. But if I was to recommend a headset it would be any Astros. They are by far the comfiest headsets for me, especially the A50s.

Just bought an Arctis 7x which works on PS5 and XsX wirelessly. You can put it wired too but battery has a life of approx. 20+hrs. If it is just for PS5 you can buy the 7p. Comes with the cable to plug it in the controller, the wireless adaptor (usb c and usb a adaptor) and the usc charger cable. Great sound, very comfortable.
