The 7 Best Meat Grinders in 2026 - [Buying Guide]
March 12, 2025 - It’s nondescript enough to sit on a countertop, but is easy to set up for heavy-duty, bulk grinding. The .5HP grinder is priced accurately if you process the majority of your own meat throughout the seasons, but can be overkill if you only grind casually a few times a year.

We Ground Up 26 Pounds of Beef and Pork to Find the 6 Best Meat Grinders
September 26, 2025 - At optimal speed, it can go through 5.5 pounds of meat per minute. It got through our tests much faster than other models. We processed 2 pounds of beef through the coarse die in less than 2 minutes and through the fine one in less than 3 minutes. We love the built-in storage drawer for all the components, and the attachments are dishwasher-safe. This is a serious grinder, and it costs serious money. It's also a large, heavy machine that might be a pain to store.

November 16, 2023 -

Hey everyone,

I know this might not be totally on topic, but I'm starting here since I'm guessing many of you are in the same situation. I finally made the best brisket of my life last weekend, and it started with a serious trim job. Like of the 16lb brisket, I probably cut off 5 lbs, 2-3 of which was actual meat.

I saved the good trimmings and threw them in the freezer because my family also loves smash burgers. I've never had a meat grinder before, but I could easily see this going into making sausage, etc. down the road. I'd also be happy to cook more briskets since there won't be as much waste as in the past.

Should I get an electric one? Manual? I have a cuisinart but it's from my parents and like 50 years old, I'm not confident an attachment would be compatible.

Any advice welcome!

October 6, 2023 - I honestly don't know why KA does not market a large enough grinder attachment to actually compete. But, that's on them. So if you REALLY want to grind a lot of meat (doing it very often or in large quantity) invest in a solid stand alone machine like the Lem mentioned above.
