i think you basically want to just buy ikea covers for ikea duvets. if you have a non-ikea duvet that you want a cover for, you might not be able to find a perfectly compatible ikea cover.

The size you give is slightly bigger than a UK king but smaller than a super king size. I'm in the UK and had similar issues with ikea bedding, so unless you've bought a duvet from ikea, I'd buy the cover from elsewhere... (dunelm mill/matalan). Some people buy a duvet bigger than the bed size, so if you've got a double bed, you could buy a king size duvet, it hangs over the edge of the bed and gives extra snuggness.

If you are using an IKEA duvet insert, what kind of cover are you using? Are you only using IKEA covers of the same size? Or have you found other covers can work? I am in the US so sizing is a bit different for IKEA duvets from standard sizes and so I am hesitant to purchase a duvet from there, but I am seeing good reviews.

There are no standard sizes for duvets and duvet covers in the US unfortunately. They all kindof vary a bit from manufacturer to manufacturer. I get most of my duvet covers from ikea because they’re a great price, but I have found a duvet cover from Target that fit well too.

Not in US, so won't be too helpful I guess. But I buy any duvet cover I like the design and material of. I just make sure to check the size in description to make sure it will fit.

I just ordered a Kärrdunört king size duvet cover and it is way smaller than my West Elm king down comforter. Smaller by at least 6" in width and length. Is this normal or could I have been sent the wrong size? The shams are king size though. I love this pattern but I'm seriously disappointed in the sizing

IKEA duvets do run smaller than most. I noticed that if you watch a show based in Sweden or Norway, etc. their bedding rarely goes down very far on the sides of the mattress.

Yeah Ikea’s duvets run small I find. I always assumed it was because most of there beds are low to the ground. I actually use a king size duvet on my queen size bed so that I have a decent amount of drape on the sides.
