Basically the title, from your experience, what is the best case quality from the known online brands ?
I used dBrand in the past for Android, but don't have strong opinion.
Best iPhone case?
Best looking iPhone case?
I’m upgrading to the iPhone 17 Pro Max next month, but right now I just need a good case for my 16 Pro Max. Plan is to hand it down to my dad later, so if the case is solid I’ll grab the same one for my new phone too.
Tried a bunch of iPhone cases and honestly most of them are trash. The ones that actually protect are usually bulky or just ugly. I’m after something that actually lasts and still looks good basically the best iPhone case that’s both durable and clean looking.
A leather case could be nice too, but only if it’s good quality and not one of those that peels after a month. Anyone got recommendations for the best phone cases for iphone or even iPhone leather case that’s protective and still feels premium?

I have used Apple cases, InCase, Belkin, Tech21, Otterbox, Native Union, and Logitech (for various devices) and I have found that the Apple cases are good, but not the best in terms of durability. I. think the most durable cases tend to be the Otterbox cases, but they are expensive.
In terms of value, I think the best cases are "generic" third party cases. This is just for iPhones and Airpods, though, as the laptop generic cases I have had experiences with tend to be cheap and do not fit well.
I don't have much experience with laptop cases (not protective bags, but actual shells), so I can't comment a whole lot in that area.
Hi,
I’m looking for a protective case for my upcoming iPhone 17. Could you recommend a good brand available in Europe?
While browsing this sub, I noticed that most of the recommended brands are based in the US 😓. I’d rather avoid paying extra fees, especially just for a phone case!
Thanks in advance for your suggestions 🙏
Just got a 15 pro a few days ago and I would love to use it without a case because it looks SO GOOD in blue but you know how fragile these phones can be. I wondering if you guys could recommend some nice looking cases.
I have the iPhone 16 pro, and when I got the phone I got their silicone phone case. Well it’s been a few months and I’ve done tore it up. Idk what I even did to tear and chip the sides but I guess I’m more rough with my phone than I thought. For context I’m a stay at home mom and my phone gets moved around the house constantly since not all my clothes have pockets so I usually just carry it by hand. I was originally looking at the Tech21 FlexPro case with the wristlet but the only color I want is unavailable to ship(the neon green). The wristlet was gonna be a great bonus but like I said it isn’t available in the color I really really want. So I was wondering what would yall recommend for a phone case that’s super durable, long lasting, and MagSafe?
I'm sort of new to iphones and smartphones, and bought Iphone 15 pro max. I see all the cases cost like $20-$50 for the most part. And I look through old threads, and see dozens of cases reccomended. I read through amazon reviews, and it's all pretty much the same, and it gets me no closer to making a decision.
When I'm paying $1200 for a phone, I don't mind spending more on a case that is better. I use my phone for my job, and want to add as little size/weight to it as possible, while keeping it reasonably protected. Anyone have any recommendations for my specific use case? I don't want to cheap out and save $20, to make my $1200 phone feel worse, or more likely to break.
I’m planning to get the iPhone 17 Pro Max soon and I’m already stressing about what case to use. I really want something thin and minimal this time, but still protective enough for normal everyday drops.
I’ve used “thin” cases in the past on my iPhone 15 pro max and 14 max, but most of them either turned yellow got scratches really fast, or get s slippery that I was always scared of dropping the phone. On the other hand, all the rugged cases I’ve tried end up looking bulky and ruin the whole premium feel of the phone.
So for anyone already using thin cases on previous iPhones
which brands actually hold up well in real life? I’d love recommendations for something:
slim / minimal
doesn’t yellow or peel n grip
doesn’t ruin the look of the phone
fits the iPhone 17 Pro Max properly (or based on your experience with the 15/16 series)
I prefer something close to the “barely-there” feel, but not completely useless in protection.
If you’ve used a thin case that genuinely lasted, please let me know! I really want to avoid wasting money on cases that look good only for the first week.
Here is Quick table selection for you after the discussion

I’m going to buy the iPhone 17 Pro next week and I’m already searching for a case. Every iPhone 15 Pro Max case I have tried that was clear ended up yellowing after a few months, and most rugged cases that actually protect the phone just look too bulky and ugly like a robot lol
This time I want something that does both: style and real protection. I have been looking at iPhone 17 Pro Max cases but still haven’t found one that really feels like the BEST case for iPhone 17 Pro Max. I see a lot of pre-orders for cases, but I’d rather hear from people who’ve actually used good ones on older iPhones.
I prefer leather, but I know Apple stopped making their own. Has anyone tried an iPhone leather case lately that actually lasts? I don’t want the leather to start peeling after a month. If there’s a good iPhone 17 Pro leather case or iPhone 17 Pro Max leather case out there, I’d really like to know.
Ideally I’d like something that could be considered the iPhone 17 Pro Max leather case, but I’m open to suggestions for the best iPhone cases overall too. Not planning to cut corners on accessories for my new phone.
Thanks!!
Hi everyone!! as seen from the title, please suggest high quality iphone cases for iphone 16 plus!! although i still consider shops from tiktok and shapi, please drop your recommendations that are not that expensive but would be really worth its price and quality 🫶🏻
I need to buy a case for my new one, what are y'all buying?
I’m going to be upgrading from and iPhone 6 to a 15 and have used otterbox. I’ve been out of the loop for some time and looking for the best protection.
I would like to buy a phone case that will last at least a few years without breaking/falling apart and also protect my phone so I don't have to replace it for years. I have a toddler who doesn't use my phone but occasionally gets ahold of it and usually throws it at the nearest hard object. What would you suggest?
Obviously this isn't a true BIFL since it's unlikely I'll have the same case/phone for life, but I do want it to last multiple years without falling apart and I don't want to waste my money on a cheap-o. Thanks in advance.
I have had iPhones in the past have chipping issues, even though they have been put in a case.
What cases are the best quality and that won’t cause chipping
Edit: from the comments, overall spigen seems to be the most recommended one
