Just bought a house and I’m wanting to get into lawn care.
Lots of options on the market: Milwaukee, Ryobi, Greenworks, etc…
The GOAL here is to buy one brand so that battery use is optimized between the separate units.
I’ll start with the following: A blower, a mower, hedge trimmers, and a weed eater

EGO is by far my favorite and most powerful. Though, they can be quite expensive. If you are wanting a cheaper option I recommend Greenworks

When I bought my house I had nothing. No trimmer, no blower, didn't even own a drill. I decided to buy a Ryobi 18v trimmer/blower combo. It was on for a great price, plus I thought it was cool I could get drills and saws that work with with same battery. As the years went on, I picked up lots of other Ryobi tools. I think they are one of the best (if not the best) homeowner brand. I eventually got into the Milwaukee ecosystem as well. I still use both. I wasn't actively looking for a new trimmer, but was considering Milwaukee down the road. I got lucky and found a Ryobi 40v Expand-it string trimmer with a 4.0 battery for a great price. Decided to pick it up...WOW. that thing is powerful. I plan to pick up the blower and cultivator attachments down the road. More on reddit.com
