Hey everyone, this weekend I'm taking the ferry up to Victoria, and I'm wondering what you all think of the fountain pen/stationery stores up there. I did a quick google search but while I wish I could visit them all, I only have time to visit one!
Is there a store in Victoria that's similar to maybe Oblation down in Portland, OR if you've been there? I'm mainly looking for friendly staff to talk about fountain pens and paper with!
Any suggestions and/or experiences?

I’ll be in London next week and just wondered if anyone knows of any good stationery stores? Or if anywhere sells hobonichi notebooks/accessories in London?

There are a few! The Journal Shop has been mentioned already and has Hobonichis. Choosing Keeping has some amazing stuff and is worth a visit for the vibes alone, but it is PRICEY. London Graphic Center has loads of Midori and Travellers Notebook stuff on the ground floor - also really good for pens and MT tapes. Artbox is great for cute bits and pieces - lots of adorable Sanrio stationery like stickers and memo pads there. And finally, Japan Center - it has a ‘coin store’ section that has some lovely floral and journaling stickers in at the moment. If you go to Piccadilly Circus you can hit those four stores in a signal walk - Japan Center is close to the station, then walk through leister square and you’ll find Choosing Keeping. London Graphic Centre is just around the corner, and Artbox is a two minute walk further down the same road. One more! Hit up a Bandai Namco Center either in Camden Market or Victoria station. They mostly have cute gachapon toys BUT they also have Sun-star stationery sections with have some lovely pencil cases, pens and Mofusand items. I recommend the Camden one as the Moomin shop is also there and has a very small stationery selection too, plus the area is fun to explore.

I absolutely LOVE the Regional Assembly of Text on Main St.(Also one in Victoria). Super hipster feel, but so much unique stationary, cards, prints and printing sets, stamps, you can make your own pins, shirts, pens and pencils, paper and notepads, just everything you could ever want to geek out about.

June 8, 2023 - As previous posters have said, Paperchase was in Victoria station itself on the concourse but not in the Victoria Place shopping arcade. It did have an upstairs too, and it sold really nice stationery. Paperchase sadly went into liquidation but there is a new stationery shop in its place called Postmark.

Shepherds Inc. Fine Papers on Gillingham Street near Victoria station. L. Cornelissen & Son, 105 Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury. Nearest station is Tottenham Court Road. Atlantis art materials, Bayford Street, Hackney. Nearest railway station is London Fields. Cowling and Wilcox, GreatArt London - both are on Kingsland Road near Shoreditch. The big department stores still sell pens - Selfridges, John Lewis, Liberty etc. There's also a Montblanc store at 119 New Bond Street.
