Car seats: Graco Extend2Fit or Britax Marathon ClickTight??
I have both of these seats. I personally prefer the extend2fit but it depends on your goals. Britax install is super easy. I find the daily use to be fiddly & annoying. The harness seems to get tangled on me frequently & it doesn’t come with a cup holder. I think most people truly love their britax seats, but it just isn’t my cup of tea. The extend2fit has weird square cup holders, but cup holders nonetheless. It also has little buckle holders to keep the harness out of the way when putting your child in. I love this. It’s a small detail but great. It also rear faces to 50 lbs, so if extended rear facing is something important to you, keep that in mind. Britax rear faces to 40 lbs. something also to keep in mind is I believe the extend2fit requires an awkward recline if you forward face before 40 lbs. My very long 20 month old loves the extra leg room with it too. You can also check out Car Seats for the Littles which is a group of cpsts who can help make recommendations for your child/seat installation/car situation too. They’re on Facebook and have a webpage as well. ETA: I think some people find the extend2fit harness difficult to tighten but we haven’t had this issue. More on reddit.com

Check out "car seats for the littles" on Facebook. It's run by techs and they will give you recs based on your baby's age, height, weight and your car situation. For example, if your child is likely to be tall, Britax usually isn't a good idea because kids grow out of them quickly height-wise.

November 22, 2024Has anyone purchased Britax Poplar from Amazon? [ON]
It was on sale for Black Friday on Amazon for 30% off in the stone onyx colour. I saw it Friday morning and it sold out after an hour or so. I got it but haven’t installed it yet! I test fitted it in my vehicle at Snuggle Bugz before purchasing and it fit nicely as we have a small car. My first choice was Clek Foonf but it was way too big in our car. More on reddit.com

Our LO is a couple months away from outgrowing our infant bucket seat and with Canada’s most incomprehensible shopping holiday just around the corner, we are looking to save a bit of cash on a convertible seat.
I’ve narrowed my choices down to the Britax Marathon or the Extend2Fit. From what I understand, the only real advantage to the Britax Marathon is ease of installation. My family has two vehicles, so being able to occasionally switch the car seat over is a huge asset, but it just doesn’t seem worth paying double the price (or more) for that function alone. Does anyone have experience with these seats?
For reference, one of our vehicles is a 2007 Honda Fit and the other is a 2017 Honda CRV.
