Hoping someone might understand if this is an easy fix. Have a shower with a Brizo TempAssure Thermostatic Valve with 6-Function Diverter. See: https://www.brizo.com/bath/product/T75635-PCLHP--HL7532-PC--R75000
Issue is that even at the coldest setting, it’s mixing hot water in. Can’t get it to normal cold tap temp. No other faucets in house mix in warm, so it’s limited to this fixture. In every other respect it works fine - moving the temp handle does increase temp along a gradient up to max hot.
Reading the manual, it looks like there is a way to adjust the limit of the hot water, but doesn’t seem like that would impact cold.
Anyone ever encountered this?
We recently had a new bathroom installed and the shower has a Brizo rough-in and valve trim kit.
However, the valve ring will not snap into place because they stops are sticking out. My contractor is telling me that the stops are too long, but I think that there may something missing or incorrectly installed.
See picture below.
Should the rough-in be located deeper into the wall? Something else?
