Wondering if my awful experience with Brooklinen is typical or an outlier.
We have a fitted percale sheet that started tearing 3 or 4 months ago (less than a year after purchase). My partner submitted a warranty claim then and received no confirmation or response. A month later I submit the same request myself with our new address, and for some reason my partner immediately after receives an email saying that a pillowcase is being sent to our old address under the wrong name. We just followed up with them again to get the sheet and their customer service team tried to send us a pillowcase again, asked for the photos of the torn sheet that we uploaded at least twice, and shipped it out to the wrong address again without confirming it with us. My partner sent them a rather snappy email with the updated address so hopefully we can get the sheet and not have to deal with this anymore.
What's the deal with this? Is their customer service always this bad? I like these sheets but this is really turning me off from ever buying Brooklinen again.

It is Brooklinens normal low quality and service. They are an overpriced low end sheet. Mine also ripped one month beyond a year. I was told they would not take them back. I pointed out the size of my order (2 Queen sets, one king set, 2 additional fitted king sheets) and they took the one sheet back unhappily. The replacement also fell apart. At this point all of the sheets I have bought have failed and been donated to dog shelters. Never again. I’m sorry you are going thru this. I think they buy reviews and ratings.

I ordered sheets online. Within 7 minutes I reached out to the business telling them I selected the wrong color, and to cancel the order. They said this is not possible the item is non refundable and there is a $10 return charge. Theyve gone non responsive. I told them to cancel the order, I dont want it, they are forcing this item on me.

Hi!! So as the title suggests I’m looking for an alternative to Brooklinen sheets/pillowcases - somewhere around the same price. I originally ordered from Brooklinen and they completely fucked me over (horrible experience that I can expand on if anyone’s interested, lol). I would really love linens but don’t think I can justify spending $300+ for sheets (bed threads), and I haven’t been able to find more affordable options other than some dubious sellers on Etsy. If you guys have any leads I’d appreciate it!!
Edit: not sure if anyone will see this or not but thank you for all the suggestions!!! I ended up getting the Casaluna 100% linen sheet set from Target in the rust color. Really surprised to see linens at target but it was nice to actually be able to feel them rather than just ordering online. I really like them so far!! They were $159 for a queen so a little more than the Brooklinen ones but I think it’ll be worth it. Yay thanks again everyone!

Nothing beats west elms brushed tencel sheets and tencel duvet, I’ve tried Brooklinen and they don’t even come close to the softness!! But if you MUST have linen then 🤷🏻♀️
