When I want to get a business plan started it seems that the only option is that it forces the onmicrosoft domain to you. But for example if a create and a personal account I can create it with a custom email straight away.

I can see that it reccomends using the DNS-server to get using your own domain... but is there a way to bypass all that and just create a business acount with your own email ?

To use a custom domain you need more steps and knowledge. I recommend getting a consultant near you. He or she will setup your environment in about 1 to 3 hours. Depends if all the functionality you need.

From there, you can add your custom domain(s) which will need to be verified via DNS records that Microsoft provides you with. Once that's all verified, you can use your custom domain as your primary email / login.

I feel like I'm over-complicating this and it is most likely very simple so please bear with me. So I had purchased my domain on Google Domains and was hoping to utilize Microsoft for my email and application needs. I should note, I have not created any e-mail addresses within Google yet.

But when I go to the Admin portal, do I just use my normal Gmail account to create the account first?
