June 23, 2023 - Rootless Polly lands a job as an assistant at a Toronto art gallery and soon develops a crush on gallery manager Gabrielle (Paule Baillargeon), but her rose-coloured glasses start to slip when Gabrielle’s lover (Ann-Marie MacDonald) reveals some unexpected truths. April 19, 2017 - An animated cult classic inspired by the fantasy comic magazine of the same name, Heavy Metal is an anthology film of various stories, all connected through a glowing orb known as the Loc-Nar, or ‘the sum of all evils’. What entails is a broad range of science fiction and mystic stories, moving through different dimensional planes and eras, making for a feature that’s greater than the sum of its parts. While certainly some parts haven’t aged well, it makes for fun escapism with a great soundtrack to boot. An adventurous Western biopic on the life of Bill Miner (Richard Farnsworth), known as ‘The Gentleman Bandit’ and famous for executing the first Canadian train robbery at the start of the 20th century, The Grey Fox has been honored as one of the most important Canadian films in history.

April 16, 2025 - The film generally follows the 1908 novel written by Canadian Lucy Maud Montgomery, and it was filmed in Prince Edward Island and Ontario. ... The 2010 award-winning drama, based on Québécois Mordecai Richler's prize-winning novel, was filmed in Montréal, Rome, and parts of the USA. Told from Barney's point of view, the movie follows him as he meets the love of his life—at his wedding to another woman—and everything that comes after that.
