How hard is it to get a Citi business credit card?
Citi doesn’t offer many business credit cards, and those available require excellent credit. That means if your credit score isn’t at least 740 or above, you should consider working on your credit score before applying for a Citi business card. Other business credit cards for fair credit may be a better place to start. Alternatively, you can apply for a personal card to improve your credit score and get a business credit card later.

Can you use a Citibank business credit card for personal expenses?
I knew Citi was inquiry sensitive to an extent but wow! I’ve seen some videos on Citi and then came across a YT channel where a guy reviewed the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Business World Elite Mastercard recently. He explained in very clear terms that if you have basically ANY hard inquiries in the past 24 months, your application will absolutely be denied. That sounds worse than the VX reports I’ve heard…can anyone confirm this??? His instructions were to wait until your at 1/24 or maybe 2/24 before applying. And since I have plans for other card applications over the next 24-months I was kinda shocked that this card I really wanted has to be scratched off my list. Got a 766 FICO and inquiries are 3/24, 2/12 right now. But in 2025, I need to apply for the BoA Alaska Airlines Business card first due to their 3/12 rule (since I don’t bank with them and I opened two accounts in 2024)
I had no idea Citi just turned down applicants like that for more than 1-2 inquiries. Sure, 5,6,7+ is something I’d understand. But for 3 or 4? Are they like that on just the co-branded cards? Thanks
Something strange happened to my Citi online account. I used to be able to access all of my personal cards and my American Airlines business card through one login. After a fiasco combining my ThankYou Rewards accounts, my online account only shows personal cards. When I called the customer service line about it, I was told that business cards are supposed to have a separate login.
A separate login?! Amex allows you to see all cards at once, both personal and business. When I attempted to link the business card to my online account, the website wouldn't let me. Is this the same with everyone else? Do people actually have two separate logins to access their Citi personal and business cards?
