April 24, 2024Just took the CompTIA Network+ N10-009, with 3 month prep. Result 875/900. Here's what I learned.
One thing I'll throw in is if you're having difficulty with subnetting, the videos by Practical Networking or Subnetting.net on YouTube will make it super easy for you. The cheat sheet method is easy and will get you through the test (but I'd advise learning the long way as well, just in case). I'm also a real big fan of Pocket Prep and Crucial Exams for practice. Before each test I'd do the whole Pocket Prep Level Up sequence (950+ questions) and then do a couple hundred questions on Crucial; once I was in the 85-95% range I felt super confident to take the exam. I'm studying 009 at the mo, there's more security topics, IoT, cloud computing stuff that's new to 009, am enjoying it and hoping to take the exam soon. Going on holiday soon so will book it in for mid-late Nov.
