The Atlantic Monthly (Great online component as well.)
-
Discover (A little gee-whiz sometimes, but the "Vital Signs" column is great.)
-
The Economist (Essential to understanding anything.)
-
Esquire (Always interesting.)
-
Harper's (Simply the best.)
-
National Geographic (We keep this one in slipcover because it is so beautiful.)
-
The New Yorker (Not just for the cartoons. We read the articles!)
-
Rolling Stone (Still relevant even in its new format.)
-
Scientific American
-
Wired (Not what it used to be, certainly, but still good)
