I know the mattress industry typically like to have their sales on patriotic holidays like Memorial Day,
But would back Friday or Christmas deals be similar? Or would it be best to wait for Presidents’ Day?
Thanks!

We just got a new house and are finally ready to upgrade to a king size mattress. Any idea what time of year mattresses go on sale? We're in the US tri-state area. Thanks on advance!
I'm not generally a Costco shopper but I've heard that it's the place to go for a mattress if you want to get the most bang for your buck (also an excellent return policy).
I'm currently looking at the Sealy Posturepedic Plus Ridge Crest II 14" Firm (California King) and right now it's running $1079.99 which seems fairly reasonable based on the reviews.
Is that the best (or ideal) price or should I watch closely and expect a sale? I am fairly interested in the short term (I'd say I have ~3 months of patience left with my current mattress) so I'm not going to wait forever for a price drop.
(Ordinarily I would check a price trackers like camelcamelcamel but Costco blocks them so i don't actually know if the price is currently good or if it regularly fluctuates)
