You might want to look at the belt ... tight. If the belt is not at the right tension, it can cause slippage that will make the transmission system act slow, jerky, or can cause one side to run faster than the other...

Without knowing what hydro's are on the machine. It could have an internal brake inside the hydro, it should be controlled by a brake lever. Or an external brake on the side of hydro.

June 9, 2017 - my 2011 cub cadet zero turn won’t move on one side when disengaging break. If you fiddle (up down ) many times locking and unlocking……eventually it unlockes the break on that side(right).

Just takes a quick look. Also that something like a stick isn't lodged in the lever on the trans that the hydro release wire is attached to. Be sure the lever operates freely like the other one does.
