Ive got the 5525, Ryzen 7 6800H/3050 The Alienware Command Center is VERY clunky, it glitches, hangs up, soemtimes doesnt work and you NEED it to activate G mode (the one on the F9 key) and the keyboard illumination (on the key F5) and adjusting power options and fan control. But returns to normal after a restart. It only happens when closing the lid. BIOS is very basic. Not even an options to adjust clocking numbers and such. Though you can disable adv optimus there to point display directly from your gpu. Specwise, if you're getting this laptop, at least bump it up to 3060. The 3050 variant will have (or most likely will have) the 56wh battery. Based on my experience, it only lasts in a little under 2 hours unplugged UNDER LIGHT USE (browsing internet, watching movies). But if you're gonna stay near wall outlets it wouldn't be much of a problem really, at least for me. The 3060 and up variants of the 552x will have the 86wh. Thermals is pretty good, but loud. But figured it wouldnt be much of a problem if you're wearing headphones/earphones anyway. Display is kinda..average? 250 nits and 45% NTSC is a bit in the low side. But if you're not gonna do professional work involving colors and gonna use it indoors anyway, i guess it wouldnt be much of a problem. Ports, not much of a problem. Though personally It'd be nice if I could get another usb port. It seems kinda lacking, though it may fall down unto your own preference. Keyboard is nice and all can get the 4 zone rgb or static orange backlight. Though mine has this left shift key that can get stuck when pressed hard enough and its kinda a problem, but thats on me because I've played bf2042 on it where using an external keyboard would've been more preferred. Chassis, pretty sturdy despite being plastic, very solid and doesnt feel cheap, has vents on top and bottom side and exhausts to the side and back. Most of the big ports are at the back too, ergonomically good. Though one major problem would be the upgradeability of the storage, there's only one slot for the storage. So upgrading would also mean Judge, decent if you're kinda techy you can fix some of the problems yourself by creating "roundabout" solutions. 3050 is enough if you're not gonna go play anything at Max 60fps+. Feels nice and premium (yeah, keyword "feels") kinda heavy too, but expected. Can recommend. More on reddit.com

It’s just less known. There aren’t really anything that is bad about the laptop. I got the g16 and I am impressed with the build quality and performance. I say go for it.
