I’m going to spend 2 weeks backpacking Europe and was planning on locking my 40L backpack at the hostel during the day and just bringing my phone, a couple credit cards, cash, and my passport with me. I wasn’t planning on bringing a day back rather opting for pants with zippers and coats with zippered pockets to keep my belongings secured on me. In an effort to further minimize the amount of things I need to keep track of is it worth getting a phone case that holds cards and cash as well or is that a recipe for disaster if as it stores everything in one easily steal-able location? Any other packing suggestions are welcome as well.
