Prime Video download location (export to Windows)
Amazon Prime for Windows question on downloading videos
I dont think it works like that, in every streaming app if you download a show you can watch it in the device you do it. Otherwise you could copy and paste and the re upload it to another web site, in the apps you cant even take a screenshot

This app doesn't look like it's been out long so I don't expect a lot of folks to have it. I have just downloaded it myself to see what it was like, hoping that whatever video I downloaded I could then play anywhere, as it states. But I can't seem to find if there is actually a video file that can be transferred to an external drive., also it looks like you can't change download location, files are saved somewhere in the Users App Data folder, and any video files that are there don't play directly.
Just checking if this is a deliberate feature from Amazon in that downloads can only be played from the Prime App and on the computer where it was downloaded? If it is. it's kind of useless having the app at all. The main reason I was looking to play downloads externally was because I don't have Prime through my TV digibox so was hoping to be able to download what I wanted to watch from Amazon and then play through my TV.
