Sorry if this is not allowed, but can we talk about sheets?
Best bedsheets for money spent?
Mattress salesman here. Sheets can be quite the con. Thread count is how many threads fit in a square inch. Depending on thread size, good sheets are around 400-425. Anything higher than that and you're looking at over priced multi-ply sheets. This leads to piling and lack of breathability. So shoot for single ply 400ish thread count. My personal favorites are Egyptian cotton, bamboo, or tencel by a company called Dreamfit. Dreamfit sheets have straps that hold the fitted sheet down and the quality and feel is amazing. Should get the price you want by shopping online. Hope this helps. Sleep well.

What sheets should we get?
I have tencel bed sheets and I absolutely love them. Very gentle on the skin. Soft, breathable, lightweight. I get excited to get into bed. Cool to the touch as well. Naturally made as well!
More on reddit.comMy husband and I just bought new mattresses (split King Tempurpedic) and want quality sheets to go with it. We have been using some cheaper sheets we found on Amazon with great reviews. They are soft enough, but feel thin and cheap. We both like silky smooth sheets (sateen maybe?). Does anyone have sheet recommendations? Thanks so much!
