Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 Cylinder Vacuum difficult to push on carpet
Dyson Big Ball animal Or Miele C3 Complete LE (Canada)
I don't know how your decision became between those two. Go with the Miele it's made in Germany and built to last. The Dyson is made in Malaysia and designed to be replaced within 5 years.

Cinetic Big Ball Animal Canister Vacuum owners
Yeah the canister alone will be easier for your mom compared to the uprights Dyson makes. I personally went with Dyson cordless vacuums, the v11 specifically, it’s much lighter compared to my Dyson Small Ball Animal. Even the compact upright is heavy for me.
Is your cleaner head a flat head or a rounded in front head with brushes. If it has red and black brushes then it can be used on carpets no issues and hard floors. It’s also normal for it to be harder to push on carpets. Dyson suction is incredible. You just know that you’ll get a good clean with this.
And also you don’t have to worry about cleaning filters anymore as you got the cinetic version too!! Just gotta empty the bin with the point and shoot bin.

Hi!
I have this Dyson vacuum, purchased in 2019, and it works great however we recently moved home and the carpets are thicker than our previous home, and we've found it really difficult to vacuum.
We use the roller brush head attachment for the carpet, and unless you push hard with both hands it will hardly budge without pressing the release by the handle.
Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or tips on how to make this easier?
TLDR: The vacuum is too good, too much suction, in carpet, looking for any advice on making it easier to manoeuvre and vacuum.
Thank you!
