October 24, 2019 - They said that I would have paid around 83 dollars total for shipping and fees if it had been direct shipped with them. They flat out stated as well that this GSP program is ripping people off, especially Canadians. I am not impressed at all. The terms and conditions of the Global Shipping Program state that "Pitney Bowes is authorized to open and inspect any GSP item without notice" and that title to the item remains with the seller until it is delivered, so it's not your item that's being opened at that point.

May 1, 2025 - Step 1: Go to the Pitney Bowes Parcel Tracker page at https://parceltracking.pb.com/app/#/dashboard/ Step 2: Enter your eBay-supplied Global Tracking number (mine began with UPAA...) Step 3: You will be shown limited tracking info. In my case, only up to the point the package left the USA and entered Canada. Step 4: Click on the "Track on carrier's website" link at the top right. Step 5: You will be provided with tracking on the page of the actual shipping company, in my case Canada Post, with a tracking number in THEIR system. Problem solved!

Gsp sucks cost the buyer more money and they poorly repack your items at their GSP center why??? I guess to check for contraband make sure your not using them to ship drugs idk.......
Anyways I would just stay away from international sales all together unless your a big big seller and can make up the potential shipping losses on sale volume it's not worth it.
Now I now what your thinking how do others do it then??? Well Chinese sellers for example have Their shipping is heavily subsided by their and even our own government. So what cost you 23$ to ship probably cost them $2 or less.

October 15, 2018 - Any problems were on the USA side or when using UPS. Broken items are usually due to the sender being lazy and not using sufficient packaging. I still buy on ebay but pay with paypal and not a CC through ebay. At least paypal can still help with a claim because ebay won't. If the seller uses global shipping, and if anything odd happens like very late shipping or the item being stolen at the global ship hub in Kentucky the ebay seller gets a negative rating.

I used it at first, but have since switched to just regular USPS First Class International.
It does cost buyers more. And sometimes they are forced to pay duties even when the item is less expensive than the threshold for paying duties. The only items that went missing in action are those I used the GSP to ship, and they did NOT make it right by the customer, so I had to do it myself, and they did not send the item back to me.
I've read others who have said that there can be issues with the delivery service they use on the other end, that it is more likely to result in a package not being received ... don't remember the details of that, but you might Google and see what you can find by way of reviews. That's what I did when I was having second thoughts about using GSP.
Note, you do not see what the customer actually has to pay GSP.
Below 8 oz, USPS would be around $12 to $14 to Europe. Up to 2 pounds it would be around $22 to $24.
