How to set a keyboard shortcut for certain emojis windows 10?
ok, I found a really powerful tool 😅 an app called PowerToys from the microsoft store...it has a keyboard remapping feature where you can set any shortcut to text option inside it - head to the settings, go to Input/Output>Keyboard Manager>Remap a shortcut - in the new window (the one to the left on the screen) - on the "Select" tree: click on the edit shortcut button (the pen icon) a new window opens, just mark the "Exact Match Toggle" and press the combination you want like for example "win button left+x" and press ok - on the "To" tree: set Action to "Send Text" and in the Keys you just type the emoji you want...you can paste them or directly open the emoji window with win+. and select it - on the "Target app" tree: choose all apps or any certain app you want - make sure you press ok button after all to activate the feature More on reddit.com

Emojis and Emoticons - Windows 10
Hold down the Windows logo Key, then press the period key. A chart will appear with all the emoticons and emojis we could ever ask for; it’s part of Windows 10 for email and modern Office programs. This is most likely why eM Client will not update their set of emoticons. More on forum.emclient.com

March 11, 2026 - Newer emojis are tied to the version of Windows and its emoji font. Windows 10 only supports the emoji set shipped for that version, so emojis introduced later for Windows 11 (such as 🫩) will not display correctly or be available in the built‑in emoji panel on Windows 10.

November 6, 2021 - Mandarin, Spanish, and English are some of the most commonly spoken languages, but there's only one that unites us all: the language of the emoji. The majority of us use them on our smartphones, but it's possible to use them on the desktop, too. That's because Windows 10 has built-in support for emojis.

March 8, 2023 - Hi everyone As the Windows 10 emoji font (Segoe UI Emoji, seguiemj.ttf) has not been updated to include the latest emoji version updates, I installed the latest font version I could get from Windows 11 (1.35). However, the emoji picker does NOT show ANY of the newly added emojis and these cannot be searched for.

July 18, 2019 - So simply start typing a description of what you're after - such as, to take an example at random, 'poo' to get the smiling pile of poo emoji plus poodle and several more. Easy! What makes this solution so perfect for blind people is two-fold. Firstly, there's the handy hotkey that the Windows team have provided to access the emoji-chooser and, secondly, the fact that this panel is both able to be easily navigated from the keyboard and accessible to a blind user's screen reading software.

February 6, 2025 -

straight to the point: I am not talking about the shortcut keys to display emojis screen "win+.". NO, I am talking about setting a certain keyboard shortcut to certains emojis
on Apple devices like "mac, iphone, etc.." I can do that like when typing on keyboard "xD" it displays the emoji 😂 and when I type :: it displays the emoji 😀and I can change the shortcuts to whatever I want.
is there any mean to do this on windows? or any mid app that can help me do this? this would save a lot of time instead of opening a screen and choosing any emoji but cursor "urghh, boring....."
