Canadian Union of Postal Workers

I know this sounds strange. We live on a street in a what is considered a rural area. It’s a “district” less than an hour away from a major city. We have a street address but no real postal code. This means when we type our address into the auto complete line of forms, we never get a match and sometimes can’t order what we need to order. All of us on the street have been assigned PO Boxes. This is fine for regular mail, but we all play package roulette when we are trying to deliver something directly to our homes from places that won’t deliver to our PO Boxes. This is just our street in the district, on all other streets, they have street addresses with postal codes along with PO Boxes. Is there any way we can apply to get assigned a postal code for our street? Is this even a thing?
