Games of considerable quality and content that its frankly insane they are free
Best example is Moonring, 30 hours of old school rpg content for free.
Early access/alpha is ok if the game already has a considerable amount of quality content, Such as Scav Prototype, or Voices of the void
Demos if they have many hours of content (Deltarune Demo nearly 10 hours of content)
game sized mods, like Enderal, Chronicles of Myrtana, fallout london, cry of fear are also approved
Preffered lesser known games, not large free games with microtransactions. Cosmetics are a bit more ok.
Niche platforms like Gamejolt or Itch.io are very welcome (heck even fangames)
So you just bought a PS5 and you dont have any money left to buy any games or PS+ subscription, so the logical choice here is to go for the forbidden free to play games which most people hate but i still think some games are still worth your time and some of them are pretty fun with friends, i tried to make this list a mixte of different genre so i hope this list will help anyone whose looking for games to pass time before they could get the game that they were saving money to buy.
Note : i added some other games that i tried to the list from the suggestions in the comments, so the list will have more than 25 games.

So the only games i have actually played in the PC are Portal 1 & 2. Rly fun games. i come from the console side, recently got my first pc. And oh, im still on a pretty young age so no 18 plus game and some 16 plus games go. If you have just some nice tipses of using steam or essential stuff they are appreciated too.
