How to Chamge The Colour of Freeform Gradient
The freeform gradient works between lines you draw, so draw the lines in the colours you want. Make sure to do it without anti-aliasing on - it won't work otherwise.

November 14, 2020Problem with the freeform gradient
I believe you're doing it on the wrong layer. You did the gradient on the middle layer, but your mask is on the top layer. The middle layer is just a reference layer > when you do the gradient on the mask layer, it will refer to the colors from the middle layer). I might be wrong, but I think that's what's happening. Yeah, it does. It's grouped with Gradient. So click on the gradient in the left toolbar and at the top of the Sub tool window, you'll find contour line paint in the second tab.

i think you have to make the line layer and the paint layer both as reference layers.
