Good Morning everyone,

I have a pretty specific question about my Z790 UD AC Rev 1.0 on the F7 bios which I am building a new build on.

Mobo: Gigabyte Z790 UD AC Rev 1.0 on F7 BIOS (29AUG)

RAM: Corsair DDR5 RAM (32Gb x2, 6000MT 40-40-40-77, v1.35, CMK64GX5M2B6000C40, v4.43.02), this RAM is listed by gigabyte as being compatible, down to the HW REV version.

CPU: i7 13700K - GPU: 980 Ti - PSU: Cooler Master V850 Gold

When I utilize my Corsair DDR5 RAM on the motherboard, in any slot, any configuration, one or both sticks, I get the DRAM error/TS light on the motherboard illuminated, with no POST to BIOS

I've isolated the problem to the motherboard and DRAM interlink because I bought a random 8gb 4800 stick of DDR5, and it works fine in any slot, and allows POST to bios as well as enabling a full Windows installation with no problem. I don't have a second DDR5 compatible motherboard to explicitly test the RAM in, unfortunately. I'm also in the Middle East and I don't think I can just walk into any computer shop and ask to use their PC to troubleshoot, lol.

With my known good RAM stick I've inputted the correct timings into the SPD menus and attempted to swap ram after a save and reset with no success, in addition attempted to turn off fast boot, and reset/clear bios with no success. My hunch is that it's still related to the SPD write errors that Gigabyte claimed they solved with the F7 rev of this particular BIOS.

I guess my question is, is there any uncommon solutions to getting a gigabyte motherboard to recognize ram that hypothetically should be supported? My only other guess is that both sticks are completely DOA.

So most of my games crash with my new system. I’ve tried a lot to troubleshoot the issue.

MB comes installed with F9 update. Straight from the website there is a new update for BIOS released 23 April 2024 that adds compatibility with my CPU. When I use qflash it gives me the error oemld miss match. I’m stumped and need help. They had a F10e update that has now disappeared and F10g shows.
