Your cpanel account exists under WHM. In WHM, there is a page called "Manage Shell Access", there you can enable SSH access for your cpanel user. I ended up having to call GoDaddy tech support. They said for me to take one of my domain names that I was not using and point that towards the godaddy/c panel generic domain. And I went back into PHP my admin and updated the home URL and site database entries to that new domain name and the old website popped up. More on reddit.com
