Not just that, these product feed sample files will give you an insight into the inner happenings of your Merchant Center.

For example, the condition [condition] attribute uses the supported values new, refurbished, and used, which must be submitted in English in order for the system to read them. For all attributes that don't use supported values, but rather allow for free form text, such as the title [title] or description [description] attributes, be sure to use the same language for all attributes in a feed.

October 17, 2022 - You can choose Free Listings and Shopping Ads based on your objective. Once you’re all done, click on “Continue”. Start with giving your primary feed a name. Go down and choose “Google Sheets” as your method to set up your product feed and connect data to the Merchant Center.

March 10, 2025 - With such a solution, you can easily replicate your Google setup to all other channels you want to sell on, for example Facebook, Fruugo etc. This feed is flexible, agile, and quick to adapt. Purpose: Retargeting shoppers that visited a product page or abandoned a shopping cart.

You can use .txt, .xml, or .tsv files. Files can be up to 4 GB in size. Unsupported file formats, such as .html, will prevent your feed from being processed.

January 14, 2025 - Merchant Center Exporter add-on, for example, allows you to create a product feed directly from Google Sheets and automatically update it when you change your product information. Data feed providers can help you create and optimize your product feed for Google Shopping.

Merchant Center accounts store the product information for Shopping campaigns. You upload product information to your merchant account through product feeds. You can create product feeds that upload multiple products at a time in the Merchant Center or through the Content API for Shopping.

The XML sample demonstrates the structure of a merchant review feed, including merchant information, reviews, and deleted entries · Merchants can be identified using an id and include details like name, URL, rating URL, and timestamps for creation and updates

When testing to find examples of this feed, it seemed to work better on mobile and when looking up stock in physical store locations: Notice in the Shopping feed you can see “In store,” and when clicking on the listing it further states “In stock.” Google might state “In stock” directly within the feed in some locations instead of clicking through.

July 31, 2024 - If your product consists of any metal, combine the material and color attributes—for example, a green pearl necklace. Use high-quality pictures. Ensure the variants match the picture w.r.t color, size, and material. Avoid text over the picture (watermarks, sales, manufacture parts numbers). Test product images vs lifestyle images (to find which works best for your brand). Custom labels are another optional attribute in the Google Shopping product feed.
