Are the speakers on the new lamps just for ambient sounds or are they going to be able to play music at a decent quality? The Ad mentions "an immersive music sync experience" but I think it's just referring to the lights.
Also, will having multiple lamps (and speakers) enhance the quality of the sound?

Reviews I saw on the app allows it to play music. They said the sound wasn’t anything incredible but still decent. I bought one, more so for the lamp than the speaker, we’ll see how it goes.

I just got the floor lamp pro, had it for about a week now. The light part is really great, nice and bright and very colorful. I don't use many of the settings for the lights, but there are plenty to choose from. The speaker though is really disappointing. The audio quality is very bad. I have a tiny little Amazon echo, and it plays music at a significantly better quality than the floor lamp pro speaker does, at almost the same max volume as well. I find it incredibly strange that such a large and expensive speaker (relative to the size and cost of the Amazon echo) can't compare to the tiny Amazon echo with audio quality. I am planning to return it for this reason alone. If you're planning to get it for the lights alone, it's a wonderful choice!

I’m torn on getting just one and getting a different floor lamp, or two of the floor lamp pros. It’s definitely pricy for two of them, so I’m hoping to hear from other people! Lighting is more important than the speaker.

If you're going for accent lighting, don't sleep on the Lyra as an alternative. I currently have 4 of these (one in each corner of my office) and they're amazing for accent lighting. I was looking at the Pros because they are a little bit brighter, but the cost and the speaker I'll never use are pretty big turn offs. The Lyra is $99 on amazon vs the $220 for the Pro.

I have 2 pros. I got them because they're taller and a little brighter. I just put them them together yesterday tho so not the best tester yet. They're on both sides of my TV near a corner. Good ambient lighting and awesome effects but it won't light up a room.

Hello,
So first some background: I live an apartment where using the ceiling lights is not an option for me. So I have installed Govee RGBIC stripes and I have two normal lamps that I already had.
Now I have good light, but the entrance area is always so dark when it get's darker outside. To change that and to brighten up the overall atmosphere I was thinking of putting a Govee Floor Lamp there. Now the question: Does this sound like a good idea and are the Floor Lamps even worth it?
I've seen there is a version two that seems newer. Is the upgrade worth it? I mean it costs 150€...
