I did and came up with dozens of cartridges that look to match the one in your picture. One example is Here. The exact part numbers may not match, however often the manufacturer will change a part number to reflect the year and month of manufacture.
You will have to do your own comparison shopping. Or take the cartridge to a plumbing supply store and they will match it up.

I would be shocked if your cartridge failed in 2 years but not shocked if you got a booger in the valve [that you probably have cleared by disassembling it.
That said, send your pictures to Grohe, they will likely replace it for free

I've managed to deconstruct the shower faucet to the level shown in the photo, but I don't see how to get the old cartridge out. It's stuck in real good. There's no where to pry, slip jaw pliers don't get a good grip on the outer black plastic, and pulling on the knurled shaft looks like it will break the plastic and leave me stuck. Any advice?
