Nothing wrong with the traditional haunted house setup, but I’m making one this year for my community and I’m looking for creative, unnerving, and unsettling ideas for my haunted house. I want new ideas, upsetting visuals (nothing too graphic or honestly expensive). Any ideas?
You can make a really cool dark walkthrough with pvc and construction tarp.
I'm building a theme park and I really want to build an attraction that is just a walkthrough, somewhat like the attractions you'd find at theme park Halloween events. I know there is no way for me to charge tickets for this attraction, as the game will not be able to register it as a ride, but does anyone have any advice as to how they would go about creating something like this?
I'd love to know if anyone has done anything like this before, even if the build has been completely non-functional.
You could use vista points, which are playable podiums that draw guests towards them and make them stop and look at whatever the vista point is in front of. Their reactions are more of wonderment and not fear so it may look for a fairly silly haunted house though.
There’s a track ride, the motion robotic arm, which is a ride that moves through whatever you build around it. You can move the arm to invert riders and pause for certain trigger activated scenes. I’ve used these to build haunted houses in the past
