March 15, 2022 -

I volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America and have been meeting with my little every other week for the past 8 months or so. I'm slowly running out of ideas of things to do / places to go, so I was hoping to get some ideas from everyone here.

What we have already done:

  • Bowling

  • Pottery at Terra Mia Ceramic Studio

  • Visited parks (Golden Gate Park, Alta Plaza Park, & Lafayette Park)

  • Ice Cream (Mitchell's, Salt & Straw)

  • SF Zoo

  • California Academy of Sciences

  • Hit golf balls at the driving range

  • Movies

What I'm considering next:

  • Exploratorium

  • Pinball museum in Oakland

  • Warriors game (kinda worried this might be too crowded / stressful)

Bonus points if it's open later in the evenings (5 PM - 7 PM) so I can take him on weekdays since some weekends I have other plans that make it challenging.

Hi friends, we are visiting for a week from Boston. I have an almost 2yo, 4yo, and 6yo. I would love suggestions on both low key things to do with them and high octane 😊 Museum recs are welcome but we’re also interested in focusing on doing things that really give us a flavor of your city and feel unique. Thank you so much!
