Getting rid of the last of my skinny jeans, RIP, as I turned 40 recently and it's time.
Any recs for wide or straight legged jeans that are high waisted? I have a pair of everlane but they don't have much give in them. I also have some coulottes I got from anthro that are very cute but end a little too high, like mid calf.

Looking for a pair of high waisted, wide(r) leg jeans that are somewhat still fitted through the butt and top part of thigh...if that makes any sense. I think it does. When online shopping I feel like many pairs look this way on the models but I'm shorter (5'4") and everything I've tried just drops off at my butt and makes me look like a little kid. I want a pair that are butt-hugging to be direct ... and that maybe even stay fitted at the very top of the thigh so I look like I have two legs instead of one big mono-leg. Does this exist? Any specific recs? Madewell and everlane wide leg styles are both no gos.
I've tried sizing down and that doesn't help either.
