Hello, today I had to reinstall my windows. After installing it I ran into problems with ryzen master not being able to start.
I have tried reinstalling it, deleting Registry files and other online solutions I found.
NOTHING worked for me.
Then as a last hope I contacted one of the most knowledgeable people I know that found a way to fix it. And the fix is extremely illogical.
Chances are, if you have this error you are using and AMD GPU.
Chances, yet again, I would assume you installed the GPU drivers through AMD Adrenaline, but perhaps you forgot to clean on Advanced Settings and check the "Factory Reset" option.
You might think what does the GPU driver have to do with Ryzen master? My guess is as good as yours.
I deleted my Adrenaline, reinstalled it, clicked on factory reset and after installation and PC reboot.
RYZEN MASTER WORKS!

I’ve been working at this for a couple hours now, and have tried every forum fix under the sun, including Update all drivers and BIOS, everything is current as of 09/13/21 Uninstalling and reinstalling Ryzen master with a restart in between the two Cleaning the Ryzen master drivers out of regedit and then the above steps Changing directory Changing folder ownership Last resort was running CC cleaner to remove everything related, restart computer and then go for an install. Tried it on 3 drives with 3 different directories. No joy and am completely stumped. Any experience working with this issue is welcome and appreciated For reference: Aorus B450 Pro Wifi, V F62B R5-3600 Nitro + 5700XT
So I tried to open ryzen master today to check cpu temps but İt said ryzen master driver not installed properly I tried to Uninstall, reboot and install again to no avail I tried deleting AmdRyzenMasterDriver v13 or whatever on registry but It wasn't there. BUT I know the cause (probably): I changed my motherboards post screen on gigabyte's Qbios app I'm thinking of flashing the bios but I thought to first ask here

Description of Original Problem: Ryzen Master says "Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly. Driver Not installed!"
Troubleshooting: I have tried uninstall/reinstall, uninstalling the chipset drivers and reinstalling them, completely cleaning Ryzen Master + it's associated folders from the computer, deleting old RegEdit versions, edited RegEdit "ImagePath" property to remove "??", used the Microsoft tool to check for any program conflicts
This all started because I upgraded from the 3700X to the 5800X. I tried all of the typically recommended fixes and still nothing is working.
Hi
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Your problem may be caused by some configuration problems or registry problems of your Windows system. You could try the following steps first.
1. Press Win+R, type regedit to enter the registry interface, and locate the following directory.
*HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services*
2. In the services folder find the amdryzenmasterdriverv13 and amdryzenmasterdriverv14.
3. Right click directly to delete the entire V13 and V14 directory.
4. Restart your computer after deletion to check whether your ryzen master can be turned on and running normally.
Disclaimer: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or work group is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems, however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Hi, thanks for the reply. I tried this method, whiule also creating a backup, and I could not seem to locate the amdryzenmasterdriverv13 and amdryzenmasterdriverv14 files you said to find. The files I found are listed below in the screenshot. Please let me know if you have any other ideas for what this issue could be. Thanks!
Hi
Thanks for your reply.
Your problem may be caused by not installing the AMD motherboard chip. Generally speaking, the first thing to do after installing the system is to install the motherboard chip driver, which involves the subsequent installation of many drivers. Therefore, your Ryzen master cannot be installed may because the motherboard chip is not installed in advance.
My current suggestion is first go to the AMD official website to download the installation package of the motherboard chip driver. Don't install it first. Then uninstall all AMD driver packages in your screenshot (including Ryzen Master), and then restart your computer. Once the restart is complete, then start installing your AMD motherboard chip driver. Restart again after installation. Finally, try to install Ryzen master again to see whether it works normally.
