I live 8.8 miles away from my closest Walmart Supercenter and it is not allowing me to select as an option. I checked and my neighbor 6 homes down is 8.7 miles away, and selecting that address does allow me to select delivery.

Did I hit the limit at 8.8 miles or are there other hidden considerations? Any ways around it? Would love to use delivery if there was a way.

So for 8 yrs living in my area, I have been told that they don't deliver groceries and I've called at least once a year to see if they've made any adjustments as I was told I was only a couple miles outside of that area.

Now being disabled, low income and no vehicle, I finally had enough and called Customer Service and was told the radius is 19 miles and I should have been getting delivery to my area all along. Said they would talk to whomever it was and get it fixed and that someone would get back to me. But that was last week on the 15th and still have not heard back and their website still tells me delivery isn't available in my area.

This is pathetic.

As a spark driver I have Walmart plus and have been getting deliveries on the weekends, which I take off, for the past 6 months or so. Last week I tried to order a delivery from Walmart and it said they don’t deliver to my address! I chatted with Walmart.com and they said Walmart doesn’t deliver more than 7 miles from the store because drivers won’t take the delivery. (I live 10 miles from the closest one.). But I regularly deliver for spark 9 or more miles. I’m afraid spark deliveries will lessen with this apparently new rule. Anyone still deliver more than 7 miles away? Just curious… I told the chat person maybe they need to build a store in my area… where, by the way, houses are being built at a rapid pace and there are now thousands of homes in my area.

We have 7 Walmarts in my zone but I see shop and curbside orders heading to addresses where the system should automatically change it to a Walmart that's much closer to their address. Today I noticed a shop order 16 miles and upon looking at the address I saw that the customer's address had a Walmart 1.2 miles away from their house address.

So just recently I was gifted a Walmart Plus subscription to help me with groceries since I have so little time these days. However I have been hesitant to use it yet because I am unsure of how the order procurement and tipping should work with it. I see some places say to tip 20% of the bill but on a $200 grocery bill that is an extra $40 which is quite expensive for me. My main question is who is the tip going to? Is it just the driver? Is the delivery handled by a third party company like doordash or are there Walmart employees that transport the groceries? Should I base the tip off of the grocery bill or not because I am not sure if I am tipping based on the delivery or the entire picking of the order. I don't want to be a cheapskate but also can't afford to tip too far above my means these days. I should note I live in a cheap part of the country without much traffic, not a major city.

I currently have an offer to restart + for $45. Im tempted to the following reason. I have a kid in college living off campus apartment complex.

Would i be able to get groceries delivered to the apartment complex? (there is a Walmart about 4 miles away) And if yes, would The delivery leave in lobby or apartment door? i assume lobby.

I like walmart+ and use it for home delivery every sunday at 10 am.
What is the best time to get groceries delivered using walmart+?
say for fresher produce, high availablity, ease for walmart employees etc.

I ordered groceries to be delivered between 7-8pm this evening. I received a text at 7:15 saying they were delivered, then another text from a different number saying my order was delayed and should arrive within 2 hours. I think the initial text saying it was delivered was just an automated message.

The app shows that my order is still being processed, so it’s not on its way. How late do they deliver? Is it safe to assume it won’t come until tomorrow? Our Walmart is open 24 hrs, but surely the don’t deliver all night.

I just want to go to bed at this point, but would hate to have food sitting on my porch for hours. Is there a cutoff where it’s safe to assume it won’t be coming tonight? I’ve tried calling the store, and no one is answering.

Would I be a jerk if I ordered a 40 pound bag of dog food from Walmart and got it delivered to my house from spark? Has anyone does this im kinda hesitant but I really need the food and don’t have the time to make it to Walmart today. 😂
