For USPA dropzones, you must jump every 60 days to stay current as an A licensed jumper, 90 days with a B, and 180 days for C and D jumpers. However, as a young jumper you should strive to jump as much as possible if you want to progress at all. For instance I jumped yesterday after a 2 month break, and even with 130 jumps, 75 being in the last 3 months before the break, I still struggled a bit flying with some buddies and I forgot to loosen my chest strap under canopy on the first jump which is something I have done every jump since I was told to do so. There's so much that goes into jumping, and only doing 25 jumps a year won't really help you progress at all. Answer from SMB_714 on reddit.com

r/SkyDiving on Reddit: How often do you need to jump a year to keep your a license
August 28, 2023 -
Hey guys it’s been a dream of mine to become a professional skydiver since I was a child and this coming summer I’m planning on getting my a license, my question is how often do you need to jump a year to not get rusty and keep your license? I’m in uni right now and plan on skydiving every summer until I graduate, would it be enough to jump 25 times each summer once a year to build up the experience or do I need to jump through out the year?

Aptly named, water training teaches you how to handle a water landing, whether intentional or unintentional. B license requirements also include a series of accuracy landings and 10 formation skydives with three or more skydivers. Once you earn your B license, you are no longer considered a "sky baby" and can take on more responsibilities and tasks.

How Do I Get a Skydiving License?
You’ll perform these solo skydives until you reach 25 total jumps during training. In the event that you can’t get a jump scheduled or there’s too much time between your required jumps, you may have to opt for some additional training to stay in good standing with the USPA. While this may sound like a “penalty” of some kind for missing licensure requirements, all additional training is offered to help prospective licensees pick up where they left off. Does additional training still cost money?
