r/CleaningTips on Reddit: What are the best tool(s) to clean outdoor Sunbrella fabric furniture?
October 13, 2023 -

We got an outdoor furniture set with Sunbrella fabric, and unfortunately white (or maybe it's an off-white) was the only option. We also have a golden retriever.

For the first year, we've been fine with me using a lint roller for the dog hair (lol) and spraying a dish soap and water solution and cleaning with a paper towel, but at this point, it's not effective enough - not to mention the lint roller method takes forever.

The image is shown after cleaning.

What is the best tool(s) to both clean the dog hair and then get it back to as close to the original white/off-white color as we can? Is there a steamer of some sort that would work well with this?

February 21, 2018 - Some umbrellas with pins offer different height options, like our best heavy-duty option, the L.L. Bean Sunbrella Market Umbrella. But if you need to close your umbrella—in case of high wind, for example, which can send an umbrella soaring—opt for the crank. Our best features pick, the SunVilla Color Changing LED Cantilever Umbrella, has the most customization options and uses a single handle on various points on the umbrella to adjust the height, tilt, and colors of the LED lights.
