Solved: HP Omen Command Center Fan Speed Control Removed - HP Support Community - 7871558
November 28, 2020 - From the info I could find I probably had an older version of the Command Center that still had it and when my system updated it was removed (again I might be incorrect). This is a problem for me because I often utilize this feature whenever I'm doing games to make sure my laptop stays cool. For example the online game Krunker.io would sometimes bring my CPU temp to high 80s or low 90s but with the fans set to the MAX option my CPU would sit at much more comfortable temperatures of mid 60s.

Lower Fan Speed HP Omen 15
I've tried using Throttlestop and ... the Omen Command Center. I even tried undervolting the CPU in Throttlestop, however I read somewhere that this has no effect on the newer HP Omen laptops. The only way I can consistently get good FPS is to keep it in performance mode, however the fans ramp up to max even when I set them to manual control... More on forums.tomsguide.com

HP Command Center: Performance customizations are not shown on the HP Spectre x360 - 2024 model.
The myHP app is extremely elusive for some reason. I was able to redownload it from https://support.hp.com/za-en/document/ish_7449949-7450003-16 . I already had the SDK pack for HP Command Center installed, not sure if that makes a difference, but opening the app from a clean install, it functions just as it did on the factory image. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else has issues locating the myHP app after a clean install. More on reddit.com

Problem with HP Command Center (Envy 15 2020 model)
I literally have the same exact issue, and have been spending all night trying to fix this problem. Except I was redirected to their subscription based tech support, which one can only imagine how many headaches that will cause. More on reddit.com

May 28, 2024 - Check for fan control options. This can sometimes be found under a section like "Thermal" or "Cooling." If available, adjust the fan settings to a higher performance mode. HP provides a utility called HP Command Center for some models, which can help manage thermal settings:

Question - Lower Fan Speed HP Omen 15 | Tom's Guide Forum
September 29, 2020 - I've tried using Throttlestop and checking both the "disable turbo" and "speed shift epp" options (which I saw worked for another person in a post on the HP forums), however I still get frequent FPS drops when in balanced mode on the Omen Command Center. I even tried undervolting the CPU in Throttlestop, however I read somewhere that this has no effect on the newer HP Omen laptops. The only way I can consistently get good FPS is to keep it in performance mode, however the fans ramp up to max even when I set them to manual control.
