Hi everyone, I purchased my iPhone 15 Plus about 10 months ago, and its performance is still excellent with no signs of performance drop. Now, my dad is looking to switch from Android (he’s been using android phones for the last 20 years) to iOS, I don’t think apple intelligence would be very useful for him. I was thinking of getting him the iPhone 15 Plus (256GB) and wanted to know if it's still a good choice in 2025 at that price point. Any thoughts?

September 28, 2025 - I just got my base model iPhone 15 in August and I love it. If I were going to upgrade right now though probably I would go with a 17. I’m thinking of 17 so that you could possibly get more software updates out of it as it is the newest phone right now. That may future approve you more than getting a 16 but I’m not totally sure on that.
