No. It’s super low so the center of gravity is very low to t he e ground. Your tv is more likely to tip over than the stand itself. More on reddit.com

The Lack stuff is pretty light duty and I think it would break in the center. The Lack end table I have is a thick particle board top ad very light legs so I assume the Lack TV table is similar. Particle board has poor tensile strength (it breaks in half) but has good compressive strength (they used to use it as underlayment for flooring). You would need to add reinforcement legs in the center to keep it from snapping in half. More on reddit.com

Will be using this for a 43” tv. Did not realize this was not the same as the old model I had with two movable metal dividers.
The old model was very sturdy with no worries about it tipping over.
This one is about half the width of the old one and about the same height.
I do not want to attach it to the wall. If this is not sturdy enough freestanding I will return it unopened and pick something else.
