2 weeks ago - Although the name of the Indoraptor in the film means 'Untamable Thief', but in real life, without a shorter form for indomitable, it means 'Untame Thief'. Additionally, in reality, the Indoraptor would've meant "Indian Thief" as looking at Indian dinosaurs such as Indosuchus and Indosaurus share this in their name meaning.

Not really. Even theropods with relatively long forelimbs (megaraptorans, maniraporans, therizinisaurs, etc) or short hind limbs (spinosaurs) didn't go quadrupedal, optional or otherwise. On the contrary, many lineages went the opposite route of almost losing them completely (tyrannosaurs, abelisaurs). Most of the "normal" theropods in the franchise are already a compromise between movie monster and realistic (albeit outdated) depiction. That's explained away in-lore by the fact they're hybrids. Indominus, indoraptor and skorpios on the other hand don't have a drop of realism to them, they're full blown movie monsters.

Caged at the time, the prototype was only able to watch as the Stygimoloch fought its way through a crowd of humans to freedom, tossing people about as it made its escape. The prototype clearly enjoyed the chaos. If these two animals ever met in the wild, the Stygimoloch would probably be prey. Indoraptor is faster and smarter, and Stygimoloch really only has one combat tactic.

Jurassic World 2 Theory: The Indoraptor's Other Dominant DNA Will Make You Sick
June 28, 2018 - Maisie is seen cleverly unlocking her bedroom door (not unlike the Raptors and more specifically, the Indoraptor), mimicking Blue's mannerisms, and while she's being chased by the Indoraptor, there is a shot of her face blending in with the Indoraptor's face through a sheet of glass in what appears to be a moment of blatant symbolism.

June 14, 2023 - Utahraptor and Dakotaraptor resemble it very very distantly due to the fact that they are all raptors, while no known dinosaur resembles Indoraptor, which is deliberately created to be monstrous, weird and more humanoid to be scarier for horror genre. Indoraptor's creator, J.A.

Now rewatching fallen kingdom I figured out that yes in fact the indoraptor we see was a prototype it was the indominus Rex rebuilt with less bones and a different body structure trained to kill anything that had a red laser dot on it (Not my art)

Honestly all they needed was blues DNA that was it so I don't think the indoraptor was going to look that much different and it was mostly considered an incomplete prototype because it lack empathy even though he was a completely abused animal

August 8, 2022 - The size and direction of the teeth in Indoraptor’s mouth seem to vary at random - some point this way, some point that way, some are bigger and some smaller. This makes the Indoraptor look fake. Real animals have teeth that grow in patterns - they only grow randomly when the animal is suffering from some severe pathology.

Perhaps this could be seen as a deliberate play with Wheatley as a toy , but rather than being scary, the production of the tail being raised and lowered was a sloppy production that you would only see in a comical animation , and the scene where the Indoraptor grinned was overemphasized. Unlike the existing Velociraptor , which naturally mixes the natural impression of a dinosaur with a mean smile , it feels like smiling too openly, which is a bit unnatural for a dinosaur. For this reason, even the scene in question is evaluated as being too contrived and childish. It would have been much mor

November 12, 2024 - Then, as more species were created, it showed there was no stopping bringing back all sorts of dinosaurs. In doing so, it also proved that beyond the Indoraptor, there were more than enough real-life dinosaurs that would terrorize the masses and were just as dangerous in their own way.

August 10, 2024 - Both are EXTREMELY intelligent, but one could be killed/w a simple rifle while the other survived mini gun fire, a rocket, a club to the face, and a chomp to the neck from a super predator (T-Rex). Not only that, but it had camouflage and could hide its thermal signature. Indominus was far more dangerous lol ... Well, depends on the situation, when it comes to killing humans, the indoraptor wins; it is way harder to hide from it and you can "tell it" who to attack.

June 22, 2018 - The Indoraptor was created to be the perfect killing machine, and in many ways, it is. It is smart, efficient and completely deadly. Like the Indominus Rex, it kills everything in its path, and like the raptors, it's incredibly clever. In short, the Indoraptor has no equal. But, at the end of the day, it will never compare to the real thing.
