Tap the Night mode button that appears below the viewfinder, then use the slider above the shutter button to choose Max, which extends the capture time. When you take the photo, the slider becomes a timer that counts down to the end of the capture time. Open the Camera app.

For even more detail, tap , then tap Night Mode and choose between the available exposure options. Your selection is saved for your next Night mode photo. Tap the Shutter button, or click the Camera Control on (supported models), then hold your iPhone still to take your shot.
