Originally releasing with a starting price of $14.95/month and a max price of $29.95/month, it'll now cost you anywhere from $19.95/month to a steep $37.95/month. Has the service really improved so much in five years to be worth the additional cost, or are you better picking out the specific Apple services you really want, and only subscribing to them?

I’ve been thinking about Apple one’s membership because I already pay for iCloud 2Tb 10/month & I’m thinking about leaving Spotify for Apple Music anyway. They cost the same, Spotify spams too much with their near by concerts emails etc.
I don’t use Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News but 2 of those services I’m already at $20/month.

I subscribe to the family tier and have my household, friends household, and parents household all added to the plan. You can add up to 5 additional members to the family plan so if there’s other people you could add to the group to split the cost you would actually save money. If you’re not watching Apple TV+ you’re also missing out on some great content. I’d even argue their originals are the best out there of any of the services. Edit: corrected the amount of additional members that can be added.

It definitely is since you’re moving to Apple Music anyway. Also Apple TV+ is really good. There’s a 1 month trial for Apple One so try it out and see if it works for you.
