I've been trying my entire mine craft lifespan to make a good, 24/7 server that doesn't go offline or onto "sleep" or "hibernation" mode for free. I can't find any that doesn't require you to restart the server every couple of minutes. Please help!

I want to create a server that's on 24/7. Something like an SMP. But, obviously, I can't keep my PC running all the time and all I keep finding is paid servers and I'm too poor for that😞
I dunno if it's even possible tbh- the fact that I haven't found any solution is discouraging. I'll survive without a full time server, but it'd just make things a lot easier.
I have basic experience on how to create servers. I've created many in the past, modded and vanilla.
Any advice?

There is no way. It's either you host your own server, or you pay for one.

Running a PC 24/7 costs money... you know like electricity bills and stuff. You may find some shady trial offers for a server box for like month free, but you realistically only have 2 options. a) run your pc (or a separate one barebones machine) 24/7 b) buy cheapest minecraft dedicated server box (they can start from like $5 a month if you look on websites that arent US/UK but like east EU or asia c) ask someone who already runs a server 24/7 if they could also host your game
