I have a mega base, on my switch game, huge tracks of lands growing crops, automation, and conveyor belts running to the very edges in all directions. it holds up pretty well! some times I loose some frames, but it seems to be very stable, even late game for a heavy builder. r/CoreKeeperGame on Reddit: Is the nintendo switch version worth it?
January 3, 2025 -
Hello, this game is on sale on nintendo store and i was wondering if it is worth it on nintendo switch version, can i play coop online with people playing on PC or other consoles? Is it running good on switch? What about loading screens and stuff like that? Is the game going to have updates on switch until when? I tried to find a website for this game but i couldnt find anything besides a twitter account, do they only communicate with the playerbase through twitter?

I have it on both switch and PC and here’s my take: Pros: Portable Melee combat feels good Summoning feels good Cons: No cross saves between platforms Ranged combat feels terrible Building and placing objects feels terrible Inventory management is an absolute nightmare. No button mapping I would say if you really love the game, have lots of time to kill or you prefer to play in bed/are traveling, it’s good to pick it up. The loose, frustrating object placement and building and inventory management turns what on PC would be a simple task of seconds into lengthy tasks of minutes. Expect the game to take 2 or even 3 times as long to progress because of this. The no button mapping is absolutely infuriating and I cannot understand why it isn’t an option. Your attack and building buttons are the L and R triggers. You also can’t map a Potion button so an any time you take dangerous amounts of damage you have to scroll through your skills to the potion slot while you run around trying not to die. All said and done I’ve enjoyed my time with it but I did the bulk of my playing over 2 weeks on holiday vacation and missed playing on PC, where the game was designed for. Maybe wait for a sale? Idk.

Keeper Review - This One's A Keeper - GameSpot
Keeper
Keeper is Double Fine at its most confident, presenting a visual feast and a heartfelt tale in a detailed, complex natural world. Keeper is strange. This may seem unsurprising given that it's the latest game from developer Double Fine, which has for years carried itself with a distinct oddball identity, but Keeper is unusual even by the studio's standards. It doesn't fit cleanly into a traditional genre, and at some points feels more like a prestige art project. But this is also Double Fine at its most uncompromising, and the experience is better for it.The closest analog for Keeper is 2012's
