I had trouble with my 25 hp. Kohler not running well when it got hot. The hotter the day the worse it was. When it started acting up the choke would help it run but it didn't have much power. I tried all the easy stuff to no avail. Finally I changed the ignition coils and that solved the problem.

I’ve been working on this issue with my Ariens zero turn for almost a week with no success. Mower starts ok, but never seems to reach full power, even with blades disengaged. Just driving around will bog it down. If I engage blades, it takes 2-3 seconds for them to spin up. As soon as I hit grass, it decreases in RPMs until it finally dies. So far, I have done the following:

Replace fuel line, fuel pump, and filter. Cleaned air filter Replaced spark plugs Verified spark to both cylinders Replaced each coil individually with a spare Adjusted throttle and choke cables Adjusted governor Cleaned carb twice Fresh fuel Checked oil level

Any other ideas what it could possibly be before I take it in for service?
