Hey there, I work for Krea. Without entering into too much detail, it's a mix of (1) using many GPUs, (2) optimization techniques of—and around—the model, and (3) a lot of engineering work that has been put into the infrastructure/networking that we built from scratch to scale to millions of users. Also, unlike other companies, we don't use providers like FAL or Replicate. That alone would make us faster by default—at least on the networking side (i.e. one network hop less). But, on top of that, on many features we're faster than even those infrastructure companies themselves. In other words, if you compare using, say, Krea Realtime versus using a real-time alternative on FAL where you connect your own localhost to their API, we should still be faster.
