We bought a couch and loveseat from them. The frame broke on the bottom of the couch and the store and warehouse gave me the run around. Complained on their Facebook page where they asked for my details to help fix my issue and then blocked me within 5min. Never did get anyone to look at the couch since no one would get back to us. You will get lots of recommendations from people who have old La-Z-Boy pieces, grew up with La-Z-Boy, etc. Old La-Z-Boy were built well, using stick built solid wood frames. New La-Z-Boy, since the last 20 years or so are no longer built that way. About 20 years ago they totally changed their manufacturing methods utilizing computer controlled routers and cutting all the parts out of sheets of plywood. The machines can cut the pieces quickly and in a very precise and consistent way. The precision cut pieces are much easier to assemble into furniture. The benefit to La-Z-Boy was greatly reduced labor and therefore assembly cost. Unfortunately, the plywood kit frames are not as durable as the original solid wood ones were. I know these details because I was a part of the project as a vendor. This method has subsequently become the industry standard in high production manufacturers.
