The only reason I said wired mouse is because it would simplify the setup. It should work if you temporarily use a different wireless mouse with it own unifying receiver. Then when you ran SetPoint > Unifying you could try turning the MX Master' power switch off and on to see if you can pair it. If you can pair it then remove the other mouse and unplug its unifying receiver. As an experiment I ran SetPoint > Unifying and paired a second mouse to the keyboards unifying receiver. As you can see I paired a Logitech M325 mouse.

Lots of directions on how to do it but all requiring using a mouse or a keyboard. How do you get it started without the mouse or the keyboard paired? I turn on each and insert the USB dongle but everything sits there in Win 10 waiting for a command, but you can't input a command as the mouse and the keyboard are not paired.

My bluetooth headphones have the option that mantainin on button will set them in paring mode where the bluetoth connecting will be able to dectect it when seeing new devices. My mouse 305 has a dongle, and connecting it usually does the trick.

Hi OkPiece , Make sure the keyboard is turned on. The number 1 LED on the keyboard should blink quickly. NOTE: If the LED is not blinking quickly, perform a long press (three seconds). Choose how you want to connect: Use the included wireless receiver. Plug the receiver into a USB port on your computer. Connect directly via Bluetooth. If the keyboard and mouse are seperate then follow these steps:
- Change the port the USB is plugged into.
If the keyboard and mouse came together or that previous step didn’t work, try these steps: - Check the batteries in the keyboard.
- If that doesn’t work, it may be a driver issue. You can fix this by reinstalling the driver. Click the "Start" button and then click "Control Panel" followed by "Device Manager." Double-click the keyboard device and then click the "Driver" tab. Click "Update Driver" to update your keyboard's driver. Windows will search for and install the best version of your driver. If none are found then you can go to Logitech Support to download and install the driver for your specific wireless keyboard. Reboot the computer after installing and your wireless keyboard should be reset and fully working again.

If you are trying to use a K270 keyboard with a Unifying receiver it will not work because it is NOT compatible with the Unifying system. Check it out, you will not find the Unifying logo on the K270. These are being sold on Amazon as Unifying and it is a scam that Amazon is doing NOTHING about!
